We are a non-profit organization providing:

- Counseling for people that are concerned about the possibility of foreclosure.  We can assist with getting the information to the lender so that some kind of workout may be done to keep you in your home.  There is no charge for our service. 

-

Home ownership education and to partner with a housing expert to assist your efforts.


- Home buyer training and financial education.


- Credit counseling referrals and guidelines for local First Time Homebuyer Government   Assistance Programs from the City and Fresno County – up to $75,000 loans. FYI: Currently no funds available until late 2008 

 

 CHC, SELF-HELP ENTERPRISES / NEIGHBORWORKS America are part of a regional comprehensive collaborative resource network-contact local HUD office for specific program assistance

CHC Monthly Board Meeting

Held every 2nd Friday of each month @ 8:30 am. 

The Public and CHC New & Current Members are Invited.

The "Home Buying Process" Orientation Classes "Is Home Ownership for you?" are provided in English, Spanish, and some Southeast  Asian languages (Thai, Hmong and Lao). Please call Housing Resource Center @ (559) 221- 6919 to sign-up for the next available class.
