As disasters continue to impact communities across California and beyond, Community Housing Council of Fresno is expanding its commitment to help families not only prepare for emergencies but recover, rebuild, and stabilize after disaster strikes. We invite you to join us for this free, interactive, family-friendly Disaster Preparedness and Recovery Workshop designed to equip individuals and families with practical tools, trusted resources, and real-world guidance to stay safe, informed, and supported before, during, and after an emergency. This outdoor community event brings together leading local agencies, financial institutions, emergency responders, and nonprofit organizations all in one place to help you protect what matters most.
This event reflects Community Housing Council of Fresno’s ongoing mission to strengthen communities through education, preparedness, and recovery support ensuring families are never navigating disaster alone.

Registration is free and limited to 200 participants. Once capacity is reached, registration will close.
This is a family-friendly event, however children must be accompanied by an adult to participate.
Upon registration, each attendee will receive a raffle ticket and a lunch ticket. Lunch will be distributed at the conclusion of the program as a convenient grab-and-go meal so families can enjoy it comfortably following the workshop.
This is an outdoor event designed to foster engagement, connection, and hands-on learning strengthening our community’s culture of awareness and preparedness together.
