Amber Castro serves as Executive Director of Community Housing Council (CHC). With more than five years’ experience as a housing counselor at CHC and a professional background spanning the legal field, lending, and real estate, she brings a balanced combination of compassion, expertise, and leadership to the role.

Since assuming the position, Amber has committed her full attention to CHC’s nonprofit mission. She is focused on rebuilding trust, increasing transparency, and expanding the organization’s community engagement. Amber is strengthening partnerships with real estate and lending professionals while centering CHC’s work on empowering families through education, counseling, and advocacy.

Her vision guides CHC toward a future in which households are not only able to become homeowners, but also to retain their homes and build long-term financial resilience.
