Good evening, I wanted to thank you, Olga De La Torre and the CHC team for assisting my husband in making our dreams become a reality. My husband and I were in escrow and in need of taking the 8 hour homebuyers class that was required by CalHFA and Olga made it happen. After providing Olga with the documentation needed she instructed us on how to go about taking the online course. After completion of the course, we were put in contact with Sally Rector, Certified Housing Counselor. We were provided with the certificate of completion for the education and counseling course we completed that same day. We were cutting it very close to our escrow closing date, but with the help of the CHC team we were able to successfully make the cut off date and we are closing escrow on our dream home! I cannot thank Olga and the CHC team enough for the being professional, knowledgeable, help and efficient and truly making us a priority. Judith at Community Housing Council is a priceless asset to the organization! I was a first-time home buyer who had no idea the in's and out's of buying a home. She literally sat down with me as many times as I needed and went over EVERYTHING with me. If I didn't really comprehend something, she would explain in detail until I did. She always looked out for my best interest and bottom line and was an advocate when I was searching for a realtor and loan officer. Not only this, but she was involved DURING the process of me buying my home. She reviewed paperwork, offers, and asked the loan officer and realtor questions that I would NEVER had thought about. She truly was an advocate for me and I cannot thank her enough! On top of that, she is just a great person! I would highly recommend Community Housing Council of Fresno to ANYONE and EVERYONE that is searching to buy a home, whether it be your first or not.
